Anna Cheung

Board Member - Secretary

Anna Cheung is a dedicated community leader and long-serving public servant with a deep commitment to multiculturalism in South Australia. As the Founder and President of the Tong De Association of SA Inc., she actively promotes cultural understanding and supports the Chinese-Australian community. Her passion for diversity is further reflected in her roles as a Board Member of the Australia Day Council (2022 - current) and as a South Australia Multicultural Commissioner (2021-2024).

Anna's strong commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of the aging Chinese community has led her to serve as a Life Member and Board Member of Chinese Welfare Services. To enhance her ability to support this community, she has recently completed a Certificate III in Aged Care and Disability.

With extensive experience in leadership and management within the public sector, Anna excels in finance, procurement, human resources, asset management, compliance, and risk management. Her public service career has been marked by a strong sense of responsibility and a focus on delivering lasting impacts.

Additionally, as an OzAsia Ambassador, she champions cultural exchange and the arts, further contributing to the vibrant multicultural landscape of South Australia.

Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Adelaide and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia. She has also completed the Company Director's course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
